The UK's Premier New Music Event

Over three days in October, In The City combines a daytime hub of music industry debate with a city-wide new music festival, providing a forum for the hottest discussion topics and some of the best emerging musical talent in the world.

Three major keynote events have already been announced for this year’s conference and dozens more panels, celebrity interviews, seminars, masterclasses and keynotes featuring some of the biggest names in the international music industry will be announced in the near future. An announcement on the live lineup will also be made very shortly – sign up to the In The City mailing list for the latest news.

A delegate pass covers entry to all In The City panels and live events and is available now for just £150 plus VAT. For access to the live music shows only, a wristband costing £22 plus booking fee is available from HMV Tickets. Prices will increase after 30th July 2010.

Piccadilly Calling

This year In The City moves to a new home in Manchester, a four hotel campus based near Piccadilly station and on the edge of Manchester’s creative Northern Quarter.

Using conference and meeting spaces in City Inn, Malmaision, The Place and Abode, ITC 2010 will expand to include a host of new networking, exhibition and reception opportunities in addition to spectacular keynote spaces - all within just yards of the city’s gateway to the world.

And using more than 20 of the coolest gig venues, bars and clubs in Manchester, all based in a 250 metre radius of like-minded cafes, record shops, galleries and fashion designers, Manchester’s Northern Quarter is the natural home of In The City – and the best place in the country to discover the best new music in the world.
